Thank you for saying this. I’ve been feeling like I’ve been living in a twilight zone. People are saying things like “I don’t feel sorry if unvaccinated people die; it was their choice”?! There are so many factors wrapped up in why people are unvaccinated. In addition to access issues, conspiracy theorists prey on vulnerable populations because they know they are less likely to trust institutions, especially our disastrous health system in the U.S. But of course the discourse is all about individual responsibility instead of anything related to structural disadvantage and systemic inequality
